About the Brand
Grohe is the world’s leading brand in luxury sanitary fittings for kitchens and bathrooms. As an international brand, GROHE pursues the brand values of technology, quality, design, and sustainability, seeking to offer the “Pure joy of water”. GROHE has been developing new product categories since its inception, and as a result, the products carry the “Made in Germany” seal of quality.
The Problem
Grohe does not have much of an online presence in South Africa. All their information sits on the umbrella brand, Lixil, website. On lixil is where you are able to find resellers of Grohe kitchen and bathroom fittings and more information about Grohe.
The Solution
Grow Grohes online presence with their own website. Redirect all SEO efforts to the new site and make sure the online experience is easy to use for the consumer and professionals (Plumbers, architects, interior decorators etc)
Wireframing & Prototyping
The navigation overall flow needed to not only work for Grohe but for Lixils other brands such as Cobra and Vaal. With this in mind as well as the amount of products all these companies offered I kept the navigation simple, making it easy to find exactly what you are looking for within 1 to 2 clicks. Within those clicks (specifically for the navigation) you are able to select room (bathroom or kitchen) and already see the categories within those rooms without having to go in and out of each category from there once you click your category you are able to filter through their many options all within the same page.
Design
Design was kept very simple, making the visuals do all the talking. – Build is currently in process.
