About the Brand

Cobra was established in 1951, opening a factory in Krugersdorp, South Africa, that manufactured taps and plumbing fittings for the local market. The company was founded on the premise that business success would only follow the production and supply of consistently superior products and so the first cornerstone of its success Cobra’s uncompromising commitment to quality was established.

What they Want to achive

  • Cobra want to be the plumbers first choice / number one brand in the market
  • Cobra Assist platform will help train plumbers on how to install Cobra products as well as get them certified
  • Win back the plumbers trust, which will result in future support and brand ambassadors
  • Launch Cobra Assist nationally – to create a model that will be a profit-generating asset to LIXIL and to customers who partner them.

What we created

I designed an app that would help plumbers track their training progress. Once plumbers are certified then they will be listed as a Cobra Certified Plumber and users will be able to hire them for their services. Plumbers would also have access to all Cobra brochures, catalogues and DIY content so they can provide the best possible service for their clients.

Information Architecture

Navigation needed to be broken up into regular users and plumbers. This structure helped to figure out exactly what the different users needed to have access to as well as registration process.

Design

Request was to keep the overall design as simple as possible so that plumbers and regular users could find anything they needed. Personalised dashboard to easily keep track of plumbers training, collapsable side bar and image focused content.
